Obituary of Paul Salvatore Mantone

MANTONE - Paul Salvatore, 92, of Fairview, NJ, on Sunday, June 5, 2011. Beloved husband of Domenica (nee Ciuffitelli) Mantone. Loving father of Paul Mantone, his wife Suzanne, Robert Mantone, and John Mantone, his wife Linda. Dear brother of Natale and Anthony Mantone, and the late Carmella Avella, Nancy, Dominick, and Joseph Mantone. Cherished grandfather of Jamie Banos, and Yvette, Bret, Lauren, Robert, and Renee Mantone. Caring great-grandfather of Christopher "CJ", and Madison Banos. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Paul was the Past Commander of the V.F.W. Post # 337 Fairview, NJ; Former Chief of the Fairview Fire Department, and a member of the NJ State Fireman Exempt Association. He was an Army Veteran serving in the Pacific Theatre 1941-1945, and was the recipient of the Bronze Star. Funeral from McCorry Brothers, 780 Anderson Avenue, Cliffside Park, NJ, on Thursday, June 9, 2011 at 9:15 AM. Funeral Mass to be celebrated at Our Lady Of Grace R.C. Church, 395 DeLano Place, Fairview, NJ, at 10 AM. Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Mausoleum, North Arlington, NJ. Visiting hours on Wednesday, from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
