TRIPODI - Carmela (nee Sgro), 97, of Cliffside Park, NJ, passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2011. She was born in Pelegrina Calabria Italy on November 3, 1914. Beloved wife of the late Tommaso Tripodi. Loving mother of Carolyn Tripodi-Marth, and her husband Joseph, of Coopersburg, PA, Diana Thoens of Bergenfield, NJ, and Thomas Tripodi, of Cliffside Park, NJ. Cherished grandmother of Jennifer Cammalleri, her husband Tino, of Haworth, NJ, and Amanda Thoens of Boston, MA. Caring great-grandmother of Robbie, Gabriella, and Olivia Cammalleri. Carmela is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from McCorry Brothers, 780 Anderson Ave., Cliffside Park, NJ, on Thursday November 10, 2011 at 9:15AM. Funeral Mass to be celebrated at Church of The Epiphany, Cliffside Park, NJ, at 10 AM. Entombment to follow at Madonna Mausoleum, Fort Lee, NJ. Visiting hours on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
