Obituary of Frank A. Masella

MASELLA - Frank A., 69, of Cliffside Park, NJ, died peacefully at home on Sunday, August 15, 2010. Born in Jersey City, NJ, he lived in North Bergen for many years before settling in Cliffside Park. Predeceased by his mother Lena Masella (nee DeGregorio). Frank is survived by the love of his life, wife Gloria (nee Tuminelli), children Donna Masella, Darlene Wunner, and her husband Mike, Frank and his wife Julie; brothers Tom, Al, Rob, and Henry Parietti. Frank was the proud grandfather to Michael, Ryan, Calvin, and Kyra. Frank was retired from IBEW Local 164 and most recently worked for the PSE&G underground transmission department. During his life, Frank was an active parishioner of Epiphany RC Church, former President of the Holy Name Society, member of the CP Board of Education, president of CP Little League, and a CP volunteer Fireman. Frank was a person of deep faith, which he shared with his entire family. He was a person of sincere compassion and overabundant generosity for which he will always be remembered. Frank had a great love for his grandchildren and for life in general. Friends and family may visit at McCorry Brothers Funeral Home, 780 Anderson Avenue, Cliffside Park, NJ, on Wednesday, August 18 from 7-9 PM, and on Thursday, August 19 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday at 10 AM at Epiphany RC Church, 247 Knox Avenue, Cliffside Park, NJ 07010. Interment to follow at Madonna Cemetery and Mausoleum, 2070 Hoefleys Lane, Fort Lee, NJ 07024.
