MOOTZ, Ernest of Fort Lee, NJ on July 1, 2012, age 84. Beloved husband of the late Wiltrud Mootz. Loving father of Frederick Mootz and Christina Rubenacker, her husband Karl. Dear brother of Tony, Erich and Peter Brum of Germany. Cherished grandfather of Karl E. and Kurt J. Rubenacker. Ernest was a 50 year resident of Fort Lee and served for many years as the treasurer of the United Homeowners. He retired in 1987 from Metropolitan Petroleum Company as Chief Engineer. Visiting hours are on Friday, July 6th, 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at McCorry Brothers Funeral Home 780 Anderson Avenue, Cliffside Park, NJ. Internment on Saturday is private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ernest's memory to Holy Name Medical Center, Attn: Foundation 718 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, NJ or Doctors Without Borders USA, PO Box 5030, Hagerstown, MD 21741-5030 would be appreciated.
