Dear Uncle Rocco,
Always, I have had fond memories of you, and of your lovely bride Aunt Stella. I have in my family photo album your Beautiful Wedding picture. What I remember mostly, is you and Aunt Stella visiting when I was a small child. When I think of the two of you, several memories and images come immediately to mind. That is, how I just LOVED the bottles of Avon "Pretty Peach" perfume and hand cream that Aunt Stella would bring for me for visits to my home. One of which was when I was sick in bed with the German Measles. Aunt Stell sat at my bedside (and you stood behind her) so sweet and fun, lifting my spirits, as she gave me the gift and told me that I was a "Pretty Peach!' I know that I have shared this memory with you before, and you would always quietly laugh and smile when listening. Another memory that jumps out at me is how when I was an adult, you and Aunt Stella had mailed to me a really nice, special, and thoughtful musical greeting card. I still have it -- and it still plays the song! But most of all, I remember both of your sweet smiles. And as for you, Uncle Rocco, I always picture your quiet, gentle, soft-spoken spirit. I am so grateful that we as a family gathered for a visit several years ago -- at my Mom's nursing home. It was a wonderful blessing of a visit. Seeing you, she, and Uncle Louie together, enjoying one another's company, and sharing some laughts, was the best, yet, however, leaving me with the wish that Aunt Katie could have been there too. I know that your visit and to spend time with you made my Mom VERY happy -- as it had been far too long since the last time. But life has had its way with us -- and adding too many miles for travel. Arthur and I both have priceless pictures of the visit! The Good News is that we will all be reunited, in the New Kingdom of Christ Jesus! And so, Good-Bye for now, Uncle Rocco. I'll be seeing you someday soon, on the other side.
In the Love & Light of Christ Jesus,
Your Niece,
Claudia
