Obituary of Josephine Prisco

Josephine Prisco, 96, of Fairview, NJ died on Friday, May 10, 2013. She was born in and a lifelong resident of Fairview. Dear sister of Clarinda "Dolly" Brueck of Fairview, loving and devoted aunt of Jeannie, Paul, Eleanor, Martin, Nick, Tommy, Karen, Bernadette, John, John, Clarinda "Linda", Danny, and the late Robert. She is survived by several great nieces, and nephews, and many great great nieces and nephews. She is pre-deceased by her parents, Anthony and Maria (nee Saviano), 2 sisters, Felicia and Jennie, and 2 brothers, Nicholas and Dominick. In her younger years she traveled the country, and showed her creative side by taking and developing her own photos. Her love for family knew no boundaries, and her lasting legacy is a family made better because of her. Aunt Josie will live on in all our hearts forever. Josephine was an office manager / executive secretary for Tungsten Contact Company of North Bergen for several years, and later worked for Karen Industries of North Bergen until retiring in 1983. She was a communicant and member of the Rosary Altar Society of Our Lady of Grace RC Church, Fairview, and a member of VFW Post #337 Ladies Auxiliary of Fairview. Visiting will be on Wednesday May 15, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at McCorry Brothers Funeral Home, 780 Anderson Ave, Cliffside Park. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Thursday, May 16, at 9 AM. Funeral Mass to be celebrated at Our Lady of Grace RC Church, Fairview at 10:30 AM. Interment to follow at Madonna Cemetery, Fort Lee.
