CHESTER - Gloria Pauline (nee Protty), 87, formerly of Cliffside Park and Mahwah NJ, predeceased by her beloved husband of 59 years, Charles William Chester JR. and infant son, Gregory Michael. Gloria died peacefully on July 29, 2013, at Woodcrest Health Center, New Milford, NJ. Gloria, daughter of Olga and Julius Protty, was born August 20, 1925 and resided in Union City for many years. She is survived by her four daughters, Janet Chester of NJ; Virginia Woods of CT; Gloria Galdi and son-in-law, John of NJ; Lois Ann Zappile and son-in-law John of NJ and sister Cecilia Barry of New Milford. Gloria leaves twelve grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Viewing to be held at McCorry Brothers Funeral Home, 780 Anderson Avenue, Cliffside Park, NJ on Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral mass to be celebrated at St. Gabriel the Archangel Church, 88 E. Saddle River Road, Saddle River, NJ, on Friday 10 AM. Interment to follow at Ascension Cemetery, 650 Saddle River Road, Monsey, NY 10952.
