Obituary of Michael D Maraia

Maraia, Michael D,age 66, died peacefully on Saturday, September 28th . Born in Hoboken, he resided in Cliffside Park and was a member of Church of the Epiphany, also serving as past president of the Holy Name Society. He is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Marie (nee: Barchetto), Loving Father to Darlene Wade and her husband Dean. Devoted son-in-law to Mary Barchetto. He was an awesome & loving Grandfather to Jessica, Gabrielle & Jonathan Wade. Dear son of the late Carmela (nee Eannace) and the late John Maraia. Loving brother to Dennis Maraia and his wife Ellen and the Late Christopher Maraia. Dear Brother-in-law to Michael & Donna Barchetto & Joseph & Camille Barchetto. Michael loved all his nieces & nephews and he was a great friend to all who knew him. Visiting will be on Tuesday, October 1st from 4:00 - 8:00pm at the McCorry Brothers Funeral Home, 780 Anderson Avenue, Cliffside Park, NJ. The Funeral will be on Wednesday, October 2nd, 8:30am-9:30am at the funeral home, and a 10:00am Mass at The Church of the Epiphany. The interment is private. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations to the Saint Jude's Children's Research Hospital, PO Box 1000, Dept 142, Memphis, TN 38148.
