HRONCICH - Anthony James, 86, Fairview, NJ, on Sunday, October 31, 2010. Anthony graduated from Cliffside Park High School in 1942, and he attended Cooper Union College from 1942-1943. He served in the U.S. Army in 1943 and was wounded on Normandy Beach in 1944, and was awarded the Purple Heart Medal. He is survived by his brother Edward Hroncich, his wife Naomi of Fripp Island, SC and his sister Violet Carcich, her husband Aldo of Hasbrouck Heights, NJ. Funeral from McCorry Brothers, 780 Anderson Avenue.,Cliffside Park, NJ on Thursday, Nov. 4th at 9:15 AM. Funeral Mass to be celebrated at Our Lady Of Grace R.C. Church, Fairview, NJ, at 10 AM. Interment to follow at Brigadier Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Vet. Mem. Cem., Wrightstown, NJ. Visiting hours on Wednesday, from 6-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to The American Legion - Post # 365, 110 Anderson Avenue, Fairview, NJ 07022 would be appreciated.
