CONVERTINI - Vito, 91, of Fairview, NJ, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 10, 2014. Loving husband for 66 years of Palmy (nee De Luca). Devoted father of Marie Elaine Geismar, her husband Robert, of Manchester, NJ, Vito Convertini of Los Angeles, CA , Gail Graham, her husband George, of Stanhope, NJ, and Nancy Hayes, her husband Jeff, of Fairview, NJ. Cherished grandfather of Deanna, Robert F., Robert M. Michelle, Jennifer, Michael, George, Jessica, Joanne, Joshua, Lauren, Casey and Dakota. Caring great-grandfather of 6. Dear brother of Joan McMahon and Frances Thalman of Union City, NJ. Vito is a proud decorated Veteran of WWII serving in the European Theater in the 714th Tank Battalion. Funeral from McCorry Brothers, 780 Anderson Ave., Cliffside Park, NJ, on Thursday, May 15, 2014, at 8:30AM . Funeral Mass to be celebrated at Our Lady of Grace Church, Fairview, NJ, at 9:30 AM. Interment to follow at Madonna Cemetery, Fort Lee, NJ. Visiting hours on Tuesday, from 7-9PM and Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9PM.
