Obituary of Raymond Albert Schwerzler

  Raymond Albert Schwerzler, 87, of Cliffside Park, NJ, passed away on Nov 5, 2021.  Proud Army Veteran and St. Peter’s College graduate.  Before retiring he was a Computer Systems Analyst for C.P.C. International in Englewood Cliffs, NJ, served on the Board of Education in Cliffside Park for several years and previously served on the Parish Counsel at Epiphany Church.

     He was a loving husband of Dolores Schwerzler (nee Modica).  Loving father of Raymond Schwerzler, Jr., his wife Sheila; Dennis Schwerzler, his wife Carolyn, Gregory Schwerzler, his wife Suzie, Mark Schwerzler, his wife Denise, Jeffrey Schwerzler, his wife Karyn, and Brian Schwerzler, his wife Kassy.  Sisters Marie Musacchio (Joe) and Ann Muller (Jack). Devoted grandfather of Gregory, Jr.; Tyler; Meghan Stefko (Marvin Stefko); Chelsea; Emily; Nicholas; Luke; Ashley Southard (Chase Southard); Krista; Sydney; Nicole; Owen and Tabetha.  Cherished great-grandfather of Patrick and Jacob and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brother Tony (Rae) and sister Claire Ciresa (Edward). 

     Visitation will be held at McCorry Brothers, 780 Anderson Ave., Cliffside Park, NJ, on Tuesday November 9 from from 2-4 & 6:30-8:30 PM.  Funeral Mass to be celebrated at Church of the Epiphany, 247 Knox Ave., Cliffside Park, NJ, on Wednesday November 10 at 12 PM.  Private cremation to follow.  In lieu of flowers donations to:  St Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital would be appreciated.
