Obituary of Phyllis Ruth Krivy

     Phyllis Ruth Krivy, 61, of Fairview NJ passed away peacefully at home on Friday, November 11, 2022. She was born March 24, 1961 in New York City. She grew up in Ridgefield, NJ where she was a Girl Scout, a member of the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls and loved playing basketball and bowling.  Phyllis started her career as a secretary and later a dedicated homemaker. She loved watching sports, attending concerts, boating, spending time at the Jersey shore and had so much pride and love for her family and friends. Phyllis was the beloved wife of 37 years to George J. Krivy Jr.. Cherished mother to Michelle Builes (Krivy), and her husband Victor, Michael Krivy, and his husband Alexander, Steven Krivy, and his wife Syndel. Adored daughter to  Barbara MacDonald (Carpenter) and the late Phillip MacDonald. Dear sister to Thomas MacDonald, and his wife Karen and the late Timothy MacDonald. Beloved grandmother to Victor Jr. Builes and Jon Michael Builes. Phyllis is also survived by many loving family and friends. 

     Visitation will be Tuesday, November 15, 2022, from 4-8 PM at McCorry Brothers Funeral Home, 780 Anderson Avenue, Cliffside Park, NJ.  Please gather on Wednesday November 16, 2022 at 10 AM for celebration of Mass at St. Matthews R.C. Church, 555 Prospect Ave., Ridgefield, NJ.
