Obituary of Louis J Sles Jr
Louis J. Sles was born on November 10, 1964, in North Tarrytown, NY. He grew up in Queens and Long Island, NY where he explored the area on his bike with his three brothers, and learned how to play handball, pool, and the guitar.
Louie graduated from East Rockaway High school in 1982 and went on to hold several jobs including as an EMT and Dispatcher for the New York Fire Department.
Louie forged lifelong connections wherever he lived. He later moved to Eagleville, PA where he eventually retired. He then moved to Cartersville, GA where he enjoyed the great outdoors and formed a loving relationship with Renea Barfield.
He is survived by his sons Nick and Sean, his grandson Logan, his brothers, John, Tom and Glenn, and his aunt and uncle, Charlotte and Al Ventoso. He is predeceased by his mother, Lorraine, and his grandson, Jaxon. He also leaves behind many cousins and nieces who will miss him greatly.
Visitation hours will be held on Tuesday, April 4th from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at McCorry Brothers Funeral Home in Cliffside Park, NJ and a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Chapel on the Hill at Madonna Cemetery in Fort Lee, NJ on April 5th at 11:00 AM.
