Obituary of Daniel A. Dalessio Jr.

     Daniel A. Dalessio, Jr., 79, of Washington Township, NJ, passed away peacefully after a brief and sudden illness on Thursday May 4, 2023.  Son of the late Daniel A. Dalessio, Sr., and Rose (nee Pisano). Dan was a proud Army Veteran.  Before his retirement he worked as a machinist for the former Dension Machine in Garfield. 

      Daniel is survived by his beloved wife Joan Dalessio (nee Marini); his loving children Dawn Carambatos (John), Kimberly Dalessio, Danny Dalessio (Stacy) and Lauren Vacca (John).  Cherished grandfather of Nadia, Caitlin, Nicky, Johnny, Brielle, Alessia, Juliana, Savannah, Sienna, and the late Russell K. Giunta.  Also survived by great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.    Dear brother of the late Anthony Dalessio. He will be missed by all who knew him especially his furry companions Jersey and Dory.

     A visitation will be held at McCorry Brothers, 780 Anderson Ave., Cliffside Park, on Monday May 8, 2023, from 3-7 PM.  Private cremation will follow as well as an inurnment in Fairview Mausoleum at a future date.  In lieu of flowers donations to: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital would be appreciated.
