Angela V. Cassidy, fondly known as Angie, passed away peacefully on February 26, 2024, at the age of 79. Born on March 27, 1944, Angie was a longtime resident of Edgewater, New Jersey. Her life was a tapestry woven with love, accomplishments, and a legacy that will be cherished by all who knew her.
Angie grew up in the vibrant community of Fort Lee, New Jersey, and graduated from Fort Lee High School in 1962. Throughout her life, she remained deeply connected to her roots and community. A devoted parishioner of Madonna Roman Catholic Church, Angie found solace and strength in her faith, which guided her through every stage of her remarkable journey.
For many years, Angie contributed her talents and dedication to Paine Webber, where she made lasting impressions on colleagues and friends. In 1998, she embraced an entrepreneurial spirit and founded her own marketing firm, leaving an indelible mark on the industry with her creativity and business acumen.
Angie was the beloved daughter of John and Angela Cassidy, hailing from Donegal, Ireland. She carried the values of her Irish heritage throughout her life, displaying warmth, resilience, and a genuine love for others. Angie is preceded in death by her brothers Edward, Thomas, Michael, and Sean, as well as her sister Frances. Their memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew them.
She is survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins, each of whom held a special place in her heart. Angie's love and generosity extended beyond her immediate family, creating a network of relationships that enriched the lives of everyone she touched.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects and celebrate Angie's life at her memorial mass on Friday, March 8, 2024, at Madonna Church, located at 340 Main St., Fort Lee, New Jersey, at 11 a.m. The ceremony will be a time to reflect on the joy, wisdom, and compassion that Angie brought to the lives of those fortunate enough to know her.
