Obituary of Richard D Brierty

    Richard D Brierty, 75, of Mahwah, formerly of Fairview, passed away on Tuesday August 13, 2024. Loving son of the late James and the late Ana (née Lachmann) Brierty. Loving husband of the late Joan Brierty (2020). Adoring father to Suzanne and Rich Brierty. Best friend and loving grandpa to Aidan Brierty and Xavier Santiago.

    Richard is survived by his sister Kathy Rusbach and was pre-deceased by his brother James Brierty. Adored uncle of many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. 

    Richard worked for Fratelli Beretta for 40 plus years and was a dedicated fan of the NY Mets and the NY Jets. 

    Entombment will be held on Friday, August 16, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Madonna Mausoleum 2070 Hoefleys Lane, Fort Lee, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
