Obituary of Patricia A Haviaris
Patricia A. Haviaris, 76, of Ridgefield Park, NJ, passed away peacefully with her daughter by her side on October 27, 2024. Patricia was born in Teaneck to the late Patrick Walsh and Florence (nee Dickman). Before retiring she worked at NJ Bell in Union City for many years. She is the beloved wife of the late Michael Haviaris (2020). Loving mother of Kristine Alvarez (Jimmy). Cherished grandmother of Nikole Luna Alvarez and Jakob Michael Alvarez. Dear sister of the late Brian Walsh (Janet). Sister-in-law of Douglas Haviaris (Betty), Eleanor Vlachos (Tommy), and Jerry Haviaris (Anne). Caring aunt of Jeremy, Sean, Luke and Joshua Walsh; and Emilia & Evans John, Tina & Jimmy Ketis, Amelia & Ramon Milan, Dino & Frida Vlachos, Michelle & Michael Mariano and Jamie Haviaris (Maureen). She also leaves behind many more cousins, friends and acquaintances, too many to list. She will always be remembered as the memory keeper and the card sender for all of life’s events. Patricia was a sweet and gentile woman who will truly be missed by all who knew her.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Oct 29 from 4:00-8:00 PM at McCorry Brothers Funeral Home 780 Anderson Avenue, Cliffside Park, NJ. Private immediate family only at funeral home prior to Mass. All others, please gather for Mass on Wednesday, Oct 30, 2024, at 9:30 AM at St. Francis Of Assisi R.C. Church 114 Mt. Vernon Street, Ridgefield Park, NJ. A burial will follow 10:45 AM at George Washington Memorial Park 234 Paramus Road, Paramus, NJ.
