How my heart is breaking. Where do I find the words to express how much Francine has meant to me in my life. We found each other as babies…holding hands on her front steps. She taught me to roller skate and bowl (and was better at everything than I was). Swimming at the #6 pool, sitting on the stoop lighting punks to keep the mosquitoes away, getting in trouble for playing with her sister’s nail polish. Palisades Amusement Park (she dove off the high board, I watched with awe!) Hangin’ with the “gang” as teenagers, White Castle hamburgers, rock & roll, our first boyfriends and later our weddings. The years have passed so quickly, but memories of Franny come flooding back as if it were yesterday. We shared laughter and tears throughout the years. I miss her already, my oldest and dearest friend & sister. She will always have a most special place in my heart with love beyond words.
My deepest sympathy to Ray, Anthony, Matthew, and Robyn.

My heart is broken. Francine was the third daughter in our family. She liked to tell the story of how, when I was about 4, she taught me how to "walk like a big girl."
I have fond memories of sitting on the steps in the summer with Francine, Dotty, and Lucille with the kids riding their bikes or playing kick ball. Grove Avenue has lost an icon. Francine will be greatly missed.
My love goes out to Ray, Anthony, Matthew, and Robyn.
Hey Franny, Say hi to your folks, Dotty, and my Dad.
Love you,
Mary

I was so blessed in my life to have been privileged to call Francine my friend. She taught me the real meaning of love, loyalty, and true friendship simply by being herself. Her strong, enduring love never wavered for those she cared about. Family first. My sweet Songbird and Guardian Angel, I will love you forever and ever......Sunshine....
