Segundo Lopez-Suarez, 89, of Union City, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2017. Born in Havana, Cuba to the late Segundo Lopez Villar and Adelaida Suarez y Galan. Beloved husband of the late Dolores E. Lopez. Loving father of Hilda Tobar, her husband Luis, and Segundo "Sergio" Lopez, his wife Maria. Cherished grandfather of Rene, Alfonso and Marlene Tobar, Esteban Lopez and Carissa Rodriquez. Caring great-grandfather of Adrian, Sammantha, Layla Penelope, Mason and Madison. Before moving to Union City, NJ, Segundo resided in Havana Cuba. He was a police officer for twenty years. Funeral from McCorry Brothers Funeral Home, 780 Anderson Avenue, Cliffside Park, NJ, on Thursday, July 20, 2017, at 9:15 AM. Funeral Mass to be celebrated at St. Anthony Of Padua Parish, 615 8th Street, Union City, NJ, at 10 AM. Interment to follow at Flower Hill Cemetery, North Bergen, NJ.
