Edward "Eddie" Simmons, Jr., 57, of Calais, Vermont, formerly of Edgewater, New Jersey, passed away on August 14, 2017, after a long battle with diabetes.
Cherished son of Corrine Simmons, and survived by his sister Gail Reynolds and her husband Charles, Carol Suarez, Debbie Licsauer and an uncle to many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his father, Edward Joseph Simmons, Sr., his sister and brother-in-law, Beverly and Alan Tackel, and Christina Rose Reynolds.
Eddie had a special love for Vermont and enjoyed fishing and making people laugh.
There will be a funeral Mass celebrated on Friday, August 25, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Madonna Church on the Hill, Church Lane, (located by Madonna Cemetery) Fort Lee, NJ. A private burial will take place at a later date.
