Marie Van Valkenburg- (nee Rovera), 99, of Hockessin DE, formerly of North Bergen, NJ, on Monday, September 25, 2017.  Beloved wife of the late Walter Van Valkenburg (2008).  Devoted daughter of the late Giocondo Rovera and Ida Rovera (nee Virla).  Loving mother of Paul Van Valkenburg, his wife Diane, and Susan Rizzo, her husband Vincent.  Cherished grandmother of Andrew Rizzo, Lisa Van Valkenburg, her significant other Korey Herndon, Katie Rizzo, Patricia Van Valkenburg, her significant other Tim Bailey, Jessica Rizzo, Dawn Mills, David Mills, Shelley Reed and Jeff Reed.  Caring great grandmother of Olivia Mills, Carly Mills, Taylor Mills, Sean Reed and Vanessa Reed.  Dear sister of the late Peter Rovera and Enes Pozzi.   Funeral from McCorry Brothers, 780 Anderson Ave., Cliffside Park on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at  10:30AM.  Funeral Mass to be celebrated at St. Joseph's of The Palisades, 6401 Palisades Ave., West New York, NJ, at 11:15 AM.  Interment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ.  Visiting hours on Monday from 5-9 PM.  In lieu of flowers donations in Marie’s name to:  American Red Cross @ www.redcross.org, would be appreciated.
