Mercedes Baigorria (nee Duarte), 92, of New York, NY, passed away on Friday, August 17, 2018. Born in Cuba on February 23, 1926 to the late Gabriel Duarte and Juana Hernandez. Beloved wife of the late Eustoquio Baigorria (1985). Loving mother of Iliana Grant, her husband William Grant. Cherished grandmother of Vanessa and William Grant, Jr., and Narcisa Medina. Dear sister of Lucia, Hilda, Rene, Jose Luis, Teresa, Adelida. Many caring nieces and nephews also survive. Visitation will be held at McCorry Brothers, 780 Anderson Ave., Cliffside Park, NJ, on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 from 4-8PM with a wake service at 7:30PM. Burial to take place in Miami Memorial Cemetery, Miami, FL at a time and date to be determined.
