E. Peter Feeney, age 71, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 26 at home in Stuart, FL. He was born January 1, 1948 in Jersey City, NJ to John and Norah Feeney. The youngest of three boys raised in Leonia, NJ. Peter was a lifelong Teamster of Union Local 560 out of Union City, NJ., a graduate from Leonia High School and a United States Army Vietnam (disabled) Veteran.
He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Mary; oldest brother, John; three children, Jason (Mikael), Erin (Jaret) and Danielle (Cyrus); six grandchildren, Adam, Leila, Mia, Norah, Clare and Antoinette; cousins, nieces and nephews.
Family, friends and others whose lives Peter touched, are invited to the viewing at McCorry Brothers Funeral Home, 780 Anderson Avenue, Cliffside Park, NJ 07010 from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. on May 9, 2019 to reminisce, grieve, support and laugh with one another.
A memorial service will be held at All Saints Episcopal Church, 150 Park Avenue, Leonia, NJ 07605 at 10 a.m. on May 10, 2019.
Flowers may be sent to McCorry Brothers Funeral Home prior to May 8, 2019.
