It is with great sadness to hear of Ed’s passing. As a new New Jersey Bell employee, I had the pleasure of being Ed’s helper for a time. When my future wife and I needed a witness for our marriage certificate, Ed and Bob Herman came to our rescue (during work time, of course). Forty-nine years later, we are still married. I’m glad to have known Ed, a man’s man with a great sense of humor and quick smile.
