Obituary of Anna A. Fattizzi

Anna Fattizzi, (nee Harmazinski) age 86, passed away October 23rd, 2020 at Monmouth Medical Center, Southern Campus, Lakewood, New Jersey. She was born April 25th, 1934 in Cliffside Park, New Jersey, to Peter and Mary Harmazinski. She married, Joseph Fattizzi, on July 3rd, 1954 who preceded her in death in 2018. Anna loved getting together with family and friends. She was an incredible cook and baker and hosted many large gatherings at her home over the years. (Basement gatherings were always the standard around the holidays). For 12 years Anna worked as an assistant to the Math Editor at Prentice Hall in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey. Anna is survived by her daughter Mary Ann and her husband Michael Contreras and her three sons, Anthony and his wife Elyse, Joseph, and Michael and his wife Shannon and grandchildren, Tiffany Fattizzi, Anthony Fattizzi, Gabriel Fattizzi, Dominic Fattizzi, Allie Fattizzi and Stephanie Contreras. Please join us celebrating her life on Thursday June 3rd, 2021 between 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 and 7:00 p.m. – 9:00p.m., at McCorry Brothers Funeral Home, 780 Anderson Avenue, Cliffside Park, New Jersey. Funeral Mass to be held on June 4th, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Madonna Church, 359 Whiteman Street, Fort Lee, New Jersey. Interment to follow at Madonna Mausoleum at 2070 Hoefleys Ln, Fort Lee, NJ 07024.
