the lord opened his arms and called my dad home. After a rough few months he slipped away peacefully. The man I modeled myself around is now watching over us. He was the glue for our family, the one who would always see the positive in everything, the one who joked around with you, the one who gave the advice when needed, the one who could talk to you for as long as you would listen, and the man who had more stories than all the authors combined. Our family will miss him dearly, but so happy for him to no longer be sick and to be with those who passed before him. He was a great man.

My memory of Uncle Manny is more of a general memory vs. a specific memory - he was so funny and always joking and laughing. He was warm and approachable - although I was severely shy growing up, he was one person I wasn't "afraid" of. May he rest in peace and may you and the family enjoy the memories while enduring the mourning. <3

My memories will always be his smile. The smile that was contagious. Uncle Manny always made everyone smile and knew how to turn any room into a party. His jokes, his stories and his facial expressions made those around him smile and laugh. I will always remember those times. And let's not forget his suits with his pinky ring. I am so grateful to have had the best Uncle. Thank you for all the memories Uncle Manny. I love you and will forever miss you.

To the Scarangella Family - I was so saddened to learn of Mr. Scarangella’s passing. My heartfelt condolences to each of you during this difficult time. I’m very thankful and appreciative to “Mr. S” for all his efforts and work with the establishment of Girls Softball in Bogota. Many years after playing I can recall a conversation with him asking me to consider giving some time to the BBO by coaching a girls team, he sure had a way of talking you into things, thus beginning my ten plus years of coaching.
May the many memories you all shared with him provide you comfort today, tomorrow and always.
